After an initial training in classical piano music, he started experimenting with a range of musical styles.
Finding a growing love for guitar-based music, he was drawn towards blues and rock music which he has successfully fused with his own unique style.
His rock influences have been Third Day, Linkin Park, P.O.D, Staind and System of a Down.
On the other hand, rap has also found its place in his music and he cites Eminem, Bone thugs ‘n’ Harmony and D.A. Truth as part of his rap influences.
A multi-instrumentalist, song writer and distinctive producer, he has performed at several venues within the UK and Nigeria including Sussex University(UK), the Brighton Dome(UK), the National Stadium(Nigeria), New Africa Shrine: Felabration 2011, Rock Night at Bogobiri, and has worked with several musicians behind the scenes.
With tremendous live performance experience, XTsamurai has released his single called “Closed Doors” which is a unique blend of acoustic rock fused with a distinct African feel.

His new single is “Shine in my Light’ in which he features super producer Flo. The song talks about standing up for what is good while drawing strength from within.
With his kind of music XTsamurai hopes to stand tall amongst his rock counterparts and seasoned artistes to correct what seem to be societal norm; prick conscience, put smile on faces.
His personal philosophy which he reflects in his music is summarized in two words.
